I believe that work to further

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

should be impactful and inspirational
—
So? Let’s make it happen!

It’s always difficult to learn new things and when it comes to DEI,
everything can feel new
-
Definitions are just the start. For DEI work to be sustainable, it needs
joy, passion, and human connection

That’s where I come in!

Learning should be fun —Making change should be fulfilling — Moving forward should be exciting.

So, why are so many people afraid of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion?

Doing DEI is difficult, but, if we know the why behind our efforts, the challenge always feels worth it. DEI initiatives often focus on how to “say the right thing” but stop short of asking who decided what’s “right” to begin with. I mean really…Why should we care about DEI?

From spearheading grassroots initiatives to developing high-level DEI strategy and building training programs for leading institutions, Ky’s work centers on the experience of real people, unpacking the fear and misinformation that drives backlash to well-intentioned DEI efforts.

Combining her deep respect for academic literature and training in organizational systems design, with over 10 years of public speaking/performing arts experience, Ky thrives as a bridge between complex frameworks for social change and the inspirational human stories driving them.
